This is one of the big ones that got away. We were doing a late archery hunt in unit 081 and had a client miss this buck three times. Two days later we went back to try to find his arrows and it turns out his range finder was reading incorrectly. The buck was not nearly as far as he thought and his arrows were going three feet or so over his back. There's always next year.

One of the Big Ones That Got Away
This is one of the big ones that got away. We were doing a late archery hunt in unit 081 and had a client miss this buck three times. Two days later we went back to try to find his arrows and it turns out his range finder was reading incorrectly. The buck was not nearly as far as he thought and his arrows were going three feet or so over his back. There's always next year.
